Best investment for my 230HP needs
I've been using the John Deere 7230R for over 2 years on my farm and it has never let me down. The fuel consumption is reasonable and the hydraulics are strong enough for all my implements. Highly recommend for medium-scale farming.
✓ Pros
- Easy to maintain
- Strong hydraulics
- Good resale value
✕ Cons
- Cab noise at high RPM
- Parts can take time to arrive
Reliable performer for wheat season
Purchased the 7230R two seasons ago. The 13.5L engine gives good torque at lower RPMs which saves fuel. The dealer service is excellent in our area. Would recommend to any farmer looking for a dependable 230HP tractor.
✓ Pros
- Fuel efficient
- Good torque
- Dealer support
✕ Cons
- Steering can be heavy when loaded
- Could use more rear remotes
